Who is HE to YOU??

I have heard this song many times, yet this morning on my way to work it came on and I turned up the volume, so that I could focus on the words as well as My Savior! Oh, I hope that you will take time to listen .....

My Redeemer
But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. Isaiah 43:1

My Healer
He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. Psalm 147:3

Almighty
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Revelation 1:8

My Savior
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:11

My Defender
The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. Psalm 18:2

My King
Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Psalm 24:4

Over the years He has been all these to me and so many more.......I praise Him for Who HE IS? He is sooo worthy!!

Who is HE to you?

He is my hope when mine has gotten lost in the day to day. He is my love when I am tapped out and tired.
He is my grace when I am at the end of my rope.
He is my salvation from myself.
He is my only truth, my only path that doesn't dead end, my light when the darkness and storms are threatening.

Thanks for your post!

Great post, Piper. I love Natalie Grant's music, and particularly this song.

Hi Piper,
Music is such a good medium to express ourselves and it's good to stop and think about what we're singing/hearing. Thanks for sharing this post on Bless a Blogger. I pray you have a blessed week of blogging and living! Gail

I love all the different Names that are given to describe the Lord in the Bible! I couldn't choose just one...He is each one in different times and circumstances in my life. This is a great song, too! Thanks you for sharing each description and where it's found in the Word.

In His Lo♥e, Ann
