Give Thanks Day 2

I GIVE THANKS FOR MY WONDERFUL SAVIOR!!!

Thank you Lord for sending your Son so that I have eternal life!! 

Without Christ I am nothing!!

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

I HAVE ETERNAL LIFE!!!

But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. Isaiah 43:1

HE HAS REDEEMED ME!! I AM HIS!!

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. John 10:29

I CANNOT BE PLUCKED FROM MY FATHER'S HAND!! 

I could go on & on!!!

OH WHAT A SAVIOR!!!

Give Thanks: Day 1

Today, I am going to GIVE THANKS for my husband, my bestest friend, the best Daddy in the world, the person that God made to complete me.... the man that I have been married to for 19 years.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY HONEY!!! I LOVE YOU!! 

Heavenly Father, I am so thankful that you are for me and are mindful of me. When you created Benny, you were thinking of me!! That blows me away when I think about it....What a wonderful gift, that I too often take for granted. You have given to me more than I could have possibly asked for, someone that loves me even when I am unlovable. Through all of life's ups and downs you have given me one that helps to weather those storms and continuously point me to you! Thank you Lord for blessing my life with him!!

2011 Siesta Scripture Memory Team : Verse 21!!!

I cannot believe that I have made this far.... I am still struggling with some of my verses but I am sooo thankful that the Lord has helped me remember what I have so far. I have been slack at times, yet when I pick my spiral back up, I am amazed at what God has helped me hide in my heart.

Keeping in the mindset of my month to "Give Thanks" verse #21 is

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18

I really want & need to focus on the "every thing" part, this is tough. I am in the midst of a wilderness and a tough season in my life. Unfortunately, my day didn't exactly start as I had hoped. I wanted my attitude to be different, when I woke up I was trying to decide what I would be thankful for on Day One (I have soooo much to be thankful for!!), so I chose to focus on the "good" and then a text upset my drive to work. I allowed something trivial to upset me and my day. Isn't that just like the Israelites, to begin griping and complaining the minute something doesn't go their way?? I am such and Israelite! I think my new nickname will be Issy! Lol!

So not only am I going to learn this verse, I am on a mission to GIVE THANKS in EVERY THING, yes, I know, even in the wilderness seasons of my life! Pray for me ok!!???
